In the lush and privileged lands of Jutiapa lies the Finca Los Manantiales, which
takes its name from the many waterfalls on the farm. Armando Pivaral has been in
the coffee business for more than 30 years. He manages the agronomic part and
today works hand in hand with his son Ronald. He takes care of the administrative
and commercial side of the farm. In the last 7 years they have been more involved
with specialty coffee and today they have managed to produce consistent quality
crop after crop.
Armando says, "Coffee is passion, tradition, and a desire to do things differently.
The way to appreciate coffee is changing because each coffee is its own world.
Today, father and son are proud that the effort is paying off.
